I'll give it a try. One thing I do is to purposely sit a bit far from the "front of the room", so that I necessarily have to stand up and walk to the front in order to address everybody. This works well when explaining things to management. There have been times I've even gone so far as to lean against the wall when a room starts to fill, so that I don't have to sit. Then when I need to make a point, it's less obvious when I stand up to talk. The hardest part isn't the talking, it's the standing up. I’ve just recently experienced this first-hand.
