One thing I do is to purposely sit a bit far from the &quot;front of the room&quot;, so that I necessarily have to stand up and walk to the front in order to address everybody.</description>

		<description>I&#039;ve just recently experienced this first-hand.  This works well when explaining things to management.  There have been times I&#039;ve even gone so far as to lean against the wall when a room starts to fill, so that I don&#039;t have to sit.  Then when I need to make a point, it&#039;s less obvious when I stand up to talk.  The hardest part isn&#039;t the talking, it&#039;s the standing up.</description>
