REST is something broader than that.

I&#039;m against the fact that REST has no pub/sub in it.

However, I have never tried to build a large-scale system with REST. SOA, yes. REST no. To me, it doesn&#039;t feel right.

The fact that Astoria is apparently based on REST does not give it bonus points.</description>
